What Causes Streameast to buffer? How can I fix it?

Causes Streameast to buffer

Streameast is one of the fastest-growing sports streaming apps on Android. It offers several types of discounts for premium content like Premier League and Champions League matches. With Streameast, you can watch all the action from your mobile device by not having to miss any important part of games on different channels. It has a unique feature – it lets you access all the channels of your choice in one place. This way, you don’t need to search for different sites each time you want to watch a particular kind of sports content. In addition, they offer many other sports videos like kickboxing, basketball, and wrestling.

Reasons for lagging:

It is important to note, however, that there may be several reasons behind the buffering issues that can occur in Streameast, but here are some of the most common ones:

1- Live video encoder is disconnected from a server

Streameast doesn’t have control over the quality and speed of the Internet connection between the live video encoder and server. When there is an interruption, Streameast tries to reconnect but it can be temporarily unresponsive, so you may experience Streameast buffering.

2- Insufficient internet connection speed

If you notice that videos on Streameast are buffering, this is likely because of the encoder’s bitrate and your Internet connection speed. While it is possible for a network to have a really slow connection, we recommend using a 5 Mbps minimum speed just to be safe when streaming live content.

3- Overloaded server’s crash

Streameast has servers all over the world, so it takes time for them to load and retrieve data. If there are too many users connecting to one server at once or other high-traffic websites that are coming up on your Streameast, it can cause a crash or a large rise in your advertising cost because these costs will be transferred from you to Streameast.

4- Inadequate Internet bandwidth

Internet bandwidth is the amount of data you can use in one hour. The internet speed is measured in Mbps (megabits per second). All internet companies provide the same speed but the quality depends on how fast your provider can provide that speed to your connection. If your internet speed is insufficient, you may have buffering issues. Several factors can affect this but the most common is too much network traffic arriving at a server.

5- Exceeding the acceptable bitrate

It is very important not to exceed the available bandwidth (bandwidth) but at some locations, this may occur. This can be due to several reasons and happen now and then in any application. The user of the streaming application should be careful while using the available bitrate beyond the acceptable threshold. It will cause Streameast to keep buffering and won’t be able to stream videos or audio effectively.

6-A weak server-viewer connection

A strong connection between a viewer and a server is one of the keys to a successful streaming experience. Streameast only sends what the viewer needs and displays this content on the screen. If there is a weak connection, you will notice buffering issues as Streameast will send pages of information very quickly to keep up with your viewers.

Ways to improve buffering

improve buffering

Following are the ways to improve buffering of Streameast:

1- Stream at an adapted bit rate

Adaptive bit-rate streaming improves buffering by working to optimize the video’s quality based on the link speed between you and Streameast. For example, if you had a high-speed connection and there was no buffering, you might opt to stream with adaptive bit rate streaming so that it will adjust its streaming quality to make sure nothing freezes up during lag or other network hiccups.

2- Don’t exceed 1 Mbps in bandwidth

The recommended bandwidth is 1 Mbps. If your speed is greater than 1 Mbps, you will be forced to decrease the video quality. If you are streaming a video, then try to keep the bandwidth under 1 Mbps (Megabits per second). You can set your internet speed to 300 kbps for 1080p video.

3- Upload at a higher speed

One of the best ways to improve buffering time is to upload your content at a faster speed. Uploading at a slower speed than you have previously uploaded content could lead to higher buffering rates, especially if it’s not in HD or 1080p. This can impact all online services that utilize Streameast as well as other services you may use that require Streameast such as Netflix and YouTube.

4- Lower your keyframe interval

One effective way to lower your keyframe interval is to reduce the resolution of the encoding waveform. In most cases, the higher the bitrate, the higher the buffer depth. The lower your keyframe interval, the more likely you are to see good results. Most browsers work best at about five seconds or less, so experiment with slightly shorter or longer frames to find out what works best for you.

5- Encoders shouldn’t be overloaded

The encoder should keep track of the present input rate. When data arrives in one direction at a higher rate than the input buffer can absorb, the encoder will have to discard some packets and then resynchronize itself with that new amount of data arriving; but if this happens too often, it will increase its latency

6- Invest in a Wired Encoder

The wired encoder above a wireless one is the best way to ensure that your ISP does not slow down Streameast. The wired encoders can handle more data than wireless encoders and do not need as much Wi-Fi bandwidth.
