If you want to keep your posts private, you can now hide likes on Facebook. But, of course, not everyone has this same policy. Even if you don’t want others to see your post engagements, there are a lot of people who like your posts and you don’t have to worry about privacy. Facebook is also adding a new feature to hide the like count on posts shared by other people – it will allow you to hide how many times your post has been liked. This is an excellent feature for those who are more private and don’t want others to see their post engagements.

Types of Facebook likes:
On Facebook, you’re probably familiar with the concept of likes. While there are categories and options within each category, to see what everyone else is liking on a particular topic or category, you need to see all likes on that topic or category. You can control who can see your likes, but some other options might be useful.
With the current version of this app, there isn’t a way to hide individual pages you’ve liked. We’re aware that there is a problem with the visibility of individual pages. As a solution to this, there are two options: either make all likes permanent or hide individual pages and the show likes on your timeline from friends and strangers only.

Hide the pages you have liked on Facebook

When someone sees your Pages, they can get a good idea of your interests and values. By default, anyone can see all of your liked Pages. This can be a good thing if you want to show more of your personality, but it’s also really easy for your information to end up compromised—especially if a hacker can take advantage of that information.
Liking Pages on Facebook can expose you to advertisements and political propaganda. Your Page will be visible to everyone with a Facebook account, including those who aren’t your friends and may not have your best interest at heart.
Do you know how sometimes you get an email that looks like it’s from your bank? It’s a phishing scam. It’s not just that the email is malicious—it’s that there’s nothing in the message that makes it sound like it came from the company itself, and that means people will trust it more. If they click on the link and enter their information, they could be giving away sensitive financial data to a stranger who isn’t really who they think they are. If a malicious user gets their hands on your data, they could use it to manipulate the information in their favor and make a profit off of it. This may involve running elaborate scams with targeted messaging.
Using Facebook, you can hide the Pages you’ve liked step-by-step by following these steps:

Step 2:
Then choose “Likes” in the dropdown menu. The “Likes” dashboard will appear, displaying all of the pages you have liked on Facebook.
Steps 3:
On the right side of the screen, click the ellipses button. Two options will be available from the drop-down menu. You can instantly hide all your liked pages by clicking on the “Hide Section” button. You can manually edit the privacy settings for different categories by selecting “Edit the Privacy of Your Likes”.
