Which variant would be best and why?

As we have examined all three variants, we have concluded that variant 1 would be the best for gamers if they want to have their games run smoothly! Although you can also do gaming on the 8 GB one, it is recommended for you go for the 16 GB RAM!

The question stays still “why variant 1?”.

As explained above, variant 1 has a better specification than other variants and if you are planning to buy a better gaming station, then why not spend another 100 bucks to get that? So, if you want to have a better gaming experience, then I would recommend you go for variant 1!

Let’s talk about its design:

In our opinion, the design of the Acer aspires nitro 7 is a bit slack, it’s like a gaming station gone undercover! On the back of its lid, there are some lines that add classiness to its design! And it has a standard Acer logo on its back, which supplies an exquisite look to this system! So, it’s a plus point as you can use this laptop at your workplace too, as it does not have a transformer logo on its back to make you look weird in public! So, if you are opting to have a station that you can use for both situations then going for nitro 7 is the best choice that you can have!

Display:

In order to stay within budget, you opt for the laptop that can keep you within budget, and this sometimes means skimping on the display. But it doesn’t have to be this way! As you are spending a lot of bucks to have something better! Nitro 7 has a display of 15.6-inch screen and 1920×1080 IPS screen that looks fairly good though! In addition, it offers a refresh rate of 60Hz! If you ask me, that’s a lot less than what you can get for the same price range of laptops!

And if we go for the coloring range then it has surprisingly solid color representation and the nitro 7 gives a clear 250-nit floor that can be used for battery testing as well! It’s one of the few things that makes this gaming station a better one than the Predator Helios 300!

Keyboard and Speakers:

If we go into more detail then the keyboard has that sound of striking that can give a whole other vibe to gamers. As it has a wider layout which gives a lot of room to the keys! And inside the keyboard, you can find the RGB lights that provide an aroma of gaming as well!

And as for the speakers, the built-in audio of the Nitro 7 is designed primarily for casual web browsing, as well as other similar uses. Anything more serious than a YouTube video should have you reaching for your headphones due to their loudness and tininess.

Last but not least, performance:

We all want our system to be perfect and to perform the best right, eh? Clearly, the Acer Nitro 7 wins the display and ambiance score as Acer mainly focused on that!

But as far as the performance goes, we must dig in a little deeper to see if a $1200 laptop has it all or not! A review model of the Nitro 7 was equipped with a Core i7-9750H processor and an Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card, which is an improved version of the GTX 1050 Ti

The Nitro 7’s problem is that it throttles way too much. In short-burst use, the CPU runs at around 1.9GHz and averages 17°C, which is a bit colder than its 8750H predecessor, ranking at around 5°C better with an average clock speed of 2.8GHz. Interestingly, even this performance dip seems to be normal in everyday use as well—it’s just far too punishing when gaming or trying to play some CPU-hungry game titles on high-detail settings. Fortunately, the Nitro 7 can remain stable above the Spectre Standard setting—only crashing once when streaming an HD movie in Chrome before running into our thermal limit of 84°C.

In a nutshell:

If you are looking for a small gaming station that is more suitable for your daily routine, and you can also use it at the workplace too then we would recommend buying the nitro series as it has all the ingredients to be the perfect gaming station!
